Supporting Cyclone Relief: Let's Lend a Heart and Lend a Hand

Dear Everyone,

As many of you know, Sri Lanka is currently grappling with a devastating crisis. Cyclone Ditwa has wreaked havoc across the country, leaving behind destruction, loss of life, and many displaced from their homes. The damage is truly heartbreaking, and countless families are now facing unimaginable hardships.

Despite this, Sri Lanka has always been a resilient and strong nation. The spirit of its people, their unwavering courage, and their ability to rebuild in the face of adversity are a testament to the strength of the island and its people. Yet, in times like these, even the strongest need our support.

In response to this disaster, and as we discussed in our AGM, the Peterite Alumni Association of Ontario is rallying together to raise funds for flood relief efforts. We have already made a strong start, thanks to the generosity of many, but we still need your help. Whether it’s a larger gift or a small contribution of $5 or $10, every bit counts and will make a tangible difference in the lives of those who are suffering.

We will ensure full transparency with all funds collected, so everyone has visibility on the total amount raised and where it is being allocated. Together, as a community, we have the power to offer much-needed support during this difficult time. If you are able to contribute, your donation will provide vital relief to families who have lost everything and are now working to rebuild.
