Annual General Meeting for the year 2024/2025

The Peterite Alumni Association of Ontario (PAAO) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on December 12th. As per the tradition, the meeting commenced with a prayer led by Rehan Goonetilleke.

The minutes of the previous year's AGM were presented and approved by the attendees. Subsequently, the association reflected on the significant work and initiatives undertaken during the current fiscal year. A particular emphasis was placed on community development and fostering unity among Peterite alumni residing in Ontario.

Financial statements were presented, providing a transparent overview of the association's financial health. Additionally, the revamped PAAO website was showcased, highlighting its improved features and user-friendly interface.

A key highlight of the AGM was the appointment of Chehan Mendis as Vice President and John Motha as Sports Secretary. Their expertise and dedication are expected to further strengthen the association's activities and initiatives.

The meeting concluded with the singing of the beloved College Anthem, fostering a sense of camaraderie and pride among the attendees.
